'Dark Suit and Lavender Shirt, Standing’ is a multi-disciplinary production about the lives of artists Gustav Klimt and Egon Schiele
Perceived through Egon's relationships with partners Wally Neuzil and Edith Schiele, as well as mentor Gustav Klimt, 'Dark Suit and Lavender Shirt, Standing' weaves compelling choreography, precise projection and a moving musical score to explore the legacy of these pioneering figures, laying bare themes of transcendence, tension and the search for truth
Set against the backdrop of fin-de-siécle Vienna, ’Dark Suit…’ is an atmospheric and affecting work shot through with dark, decadent sexuality
